INTRODUCTION
Tamarokuto Science Center offers a wide variety of exhibitions of science through 5 zones, which are Space science, Life science, Environmental science, Regional science, and Earth science.
You can watch, sometimes touch, and enjoy exploring the Science Center. You will be amazed by the mystery of the science.
●Space science
In this zone, you will learn about the universe. The latest information or experiments help you to better understand how we can live in outer space.
●Life science
Through hands-on exhibits, you will realize the evolution of life, mechanisms of human body or senses, and the differences between animals and human beings.
●Environmental science
In this zone, you can learn the scientific techniques in daily life such as solar energy system and window power.
●Regional science
This is a place for relaxation. The copse of the Musashino area has been reproduced throughout the zone.
●Earth science
You will see big earth model here. Also you can learn about climatic phenomena and various fossils.
●Science egg (One of the world maximum grade planetarium dome theaters)
This is the dome theater which has 27.5 meters in diameter. Here we offer the planetarium programs and the pan-hemispheric 70mm film movies. Enjoy the vivid starry sky and dynamic images on the big screen. 207 seats and 6 wheel chairs spaces have been provided.
*Entrance is not allowed during a movie. Please try to get the theater early.
