| Introduction | Far across the universe, pairs of supermassive black holes at the hearts of galaxies slowly orbit each other, moving as if in a cosmic dance. These motions send ripples through space-time that travel for millions of years before reaching Earth. By studying tiny variations in the radio signals from pulsars—nature’s most precise cosmic clocks—we are trying to capture these invisible waves. In this science café, we’ll explore how researchers are learning to “listen” to the rhythm of dancing galaxies and what it tells us about our universe. |
